Dianna Argon's Cosmo Inspired Look

So I am loving Dianna Argon's style right now...it is very edgy, chic, and sexy.  I am not saying I am any of these things because personally I am very goofy! But I was inspired!

These are the products I used in my look today!

I started my look today with my eyes because if you see Dianna's look it is very dark and smokey so there was bound to be alot of fallout!

Eyes- I primed my eyes with MAC's Painterly Paintpot.  Then I took the MAC shade stick in Relaxed and rubbed it across my eyelids.  I then took a 217 brush and blended the edges into the crease.  Dianna's look goes very far into the crease.  I used a flat shader brush and the colors Sable, Smut, Brown Script, and Mystery all over the lid and blended into the crease with a MAC 224.  Then I took the color Carbon and patted that into lid.  I lined the eyes with Benefit's Bad Gal waterproof eyeliner.  I used Estee Lauder's Sumptuous Bold Volume Mascara.

Face- On my face I used Chanel's Vitalumiere foundation in Clair.  I used Bobbi Brown's skin correcter in Light Peach and Chanel's concealer.  I used 2 different bronzers because I wanted to get an all over glow and I wanted a more defined look.  So to get the glow I wanted I used a MAC mineralized bronzer and for to define my features I used a darker Too Faced Bronzer called Chocolate Soleil.  On my cheeks I used Tarte's Amazonian Clay blush called Blissful and a little of NARS Orgasm.  To highlight I used a Physician's Formula Shimmer Bronzer.

Lips-  I used Chanel's Lipstick in Fetchie and a plain gloss over top...

Purple Playdate...

So this afternoon while home sick, I was bored so I decided to play with some purple eyeshadows and this is what I came up with!

Don't mind the hair it is a mess!!!

I did my eyes first for this look because I knew there would be ALOT of fallout . On my eyes, (also everythinng I used is from MAC except the eyeliner I used in my waterline) I used there Painterly Paint Pot.  Then I took the color Twinks on put it all over the lid.  Then I used the color Plum Dressing in my crease, and I also used a burgundy color from the Fresh and Easy mineralize trio.  Then I took a combination of all three and some of Fig1 and worked it into the corner of my eye.  From there I used the Rapidblack liquid eyeliner (my favorite!) and Urban Decay's eyeliner in Zero to line my eyes.  I used L'oreal's Voluminous Mascara.

I primed my face with MAC's Strobe Cream.  Then I used Makeup Forever's HD Foundation. I used NARS Laguna Bronzer all over my face and then contoured my cheeks with TooFaced Bronzer.  For Blush I used MAC's Warm Soul Mineralize Blush. And to highlight I used By Candelight Skinfinish.

On my lips I used C-Thru lipgloss and Emancipation.

From Naked to Daphne...

Today I am doing something I rarely do, I am taking pictures with no makeup!  I wanted to show my face  before I actually added makeup to show my many imperfections and quirks not that my face looks perfect with makeup on either!

Scary, I know this  is my face without makeup! Ahhh!

And another picture of my naked face! Wow!

Today I decided to show people a natural look that I like to wear frequently.  I used MAC's Strobe Cream as a base, I used  Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisterizer in Nude, Bobbi Brown's Peach Correcter, and Chanel's conealer to start.  Then I used NARS Laguna Bronzer all over my face (my body is much tanner than my face like most).  Then to contour I used Chocolate Soleil Bronzer from Too Faced and to Highlight I used MAC Studio Fix Concealer in NW20 and By Candelight SkinFinish.  For blush I used MAC's Mocha but if you are keeping your look very neutral you can really use any blush you want.  On my eyes I used a MAC pigment called Naked and on top of it I used Naked Lunch (MAC), then in my crease I used Urban Decay's Naked.  Then I used L'oreal's Voluminous Waterproof mascara in Carbon Black.  On my lips I chose to use MAC's Mimmy lipgloss from their Christmas Collection...I know it seems like a lot but it truly does not take long to do at all...It also helps to lay out your make up the night before...

To turn my "Naked" look to something more dramatic I took NARS eyeshadow called Daphne and added it to the corner crease.  I also added some black eyeliner and a peachy nude lipstick. And that is how I went from Naked to Daphne....
